At Soul, blonding is more than just a service — it’s our signature Blondie look. But for many apprentices and early stylists, lightening can feel intimidating and confusing. That’s why we’ve created a hands-on course that focuses on the core foundations of blonding, giving students the knowledge and practice they need to build real confidence.
In this class, we’ll break down the core lightening techniques — weave, tease, and slice — and, more importantly, explain why and when to use each one. We’ll also dive into toner selection: how to choose the right shade to enhance, not correct, your work, and when to use or lose a tone to create either a natural lived-in look or a stronger, more defined finish.
Every student will work on a mannequin, splitting the head into two halves:
- One side showcasing a natural Soul Blondie lived-in look.
- The other side pushing into a striking, high-contrast result.
By the end, they’ll walk away with not just technical skills but the confidence and decision-making ability to approach blonding with intention, delivering consistent results their clients will love.
