4-Hour Practical Education Session
Hot tools are used every day on the salon floor, yet many apprentices rely on one default technique and hope for the best.
The Finish Edit is designed to build confidence, understanding and consistency with hot tools, focusing on technique, sectioning and intention. The goal is to help apprentices create polished, lasting finishes that complement the haircut or blow wave, suit the client, and elevate the overall service.
This session breaks hot tool styling down into clear, repeatable methods apprentices can confidently replicate in real salon conditions.
Hosted in my hair home, Have A Nice Day Hair, in the heart of St Kilda.

Session Flow
- Arrival: 10:00am
- Live demo: 10:15am – 11:15am
- Models arrive + hands-on: 11:15am – 1:30pm
- Content tips + problem solving: 1:30pm – 1:45pm
- Group discussion + recap: 1:45pm – 2:00pm
