4-Hour Practical Education Session
Hairlines are where technique is most visible and where mistakes are hardest to hide.
Perfect Hairlines: Foundations is designed to help apprentices build confidence and precision at the front of the hair, focusing on clean placement, tidy foils and controlled work close to the root. These are the details that elevate a service and make a clear difference on the salon floor.
This session breaks hairline work down in a clear, repeatable way, helping apprentices move beyond guesswork and develop consistent, neat results they can confidently replicate in salon.
Hosted in my hair home, Have A Nice Day Hair, in the heart of St Kilda.

Ideal for first, second or third-year apprentices who want to refine their detail work and build confidence where it matters most.
Numbers are strictly limited to keep the session intimate, hands-on and focused — not a classroom-style environment.
What You’ll Need
- Foiling comb
- Sectioning clips
- Foils
- Suitable live model for hairline/foil work
(all colour will be provided)
Session Flow
- Arrival: 10:00am
- Live demo: 10:15am – 11:15am
- Models arrive + hands-on: 11:15am – 1:30pm
- Content tips + problem solving: 1:30pm – 1:45pm
- Group discussion + recap: 1:45pm – 2:00pm
