Celebrating excellence in our industry: ANZ hair industry awards finalists announced
The finalists for the 12th annual ANZ Hair Industry Awards – Business have just been announced, and we are incredibly proud to see so many of our AHC members included. These awards highlight the highest standards of business excellence across hairdressing, barbering, salon ownership, education and professional products. This year also marks the exciting expansion into New Zealand, making it a trans-Tasman celebration of our industry.
Our members have always been driven by more than just business success. They are people who care deeply about their teams, their clients and the long-term future of the hairdressing community. To see their efforts recognised on such a significant platform is a reminder of the important role they play in strengthening and advancing the industry. It is also a reflection of the values we share at the AHC: professionalism, integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The ANZ Hair Industry Awards are carefully judged by a panel of more than 30 respected professionals from across the globe, with entries assessed independently and blind to ensure complete fairness. This year saw more than 300 entries, a record number that highlights the strength and resilience of the industry despite the challenges of recent years. For our members to be acknowledged among such a strong field of entries is an achievement in itself and one that deserves to be celebrated.
New venue – Brisbane!
For the first time, the gala event will be held in Brisbane at The Star on Sunday 19 October. As always, it promises to be a memorable evening that combines celebration with community. The event is well known for its creative energy, and this year will be no exception, with Adam Williams once again bringing his unique flair to the stage. The awards are more than an evening of recognition. They are a chance to come together, connect with peers, and reflect on the incredible achievements across our industry.
To all of our members who are finalists, we extend our heartfelt congratulations. Your leadership, creativity and dedication inspire others and set a benchmark for excellence. These awards demonstrate that the future of the hairdressing industry is in capable hands, guided by people who are committed to both innovation and professionalism.
